UPDATE: Traffic Reopens on Interstate 5 After Incident Involving Man Threatening to Jump From Overpass, Multi-Vehicle Crash

As the evening commute progresses, drivers are being advised to use alternate routes, including Interstate 15, to make it to their destinations.

Update (8:25 p.m.) - All lanes of Interstate 5 have reopened in both directions. The individual involved in the incident has been taken into custody, according to the San Diego Police Department.
